Medical Providers
James Redington, MD
Dr. Redington has been providing medical care to the residents of Bath and Highland counties for 38 years. He is board certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Redington has a special interest in the early detection of cancer and in the diagnosis and management of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Dr. Redington is an Associate Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at VCU School of Medicine and serves as the Medical Examiner for Bath County. Dr. Redington has been honored as Virginia’s Family Doctor of the Year by the Virginia Academy of Family Practice.
Claire Wallace, MD
Dr. Wallace is a board-certified family medicine physician with a passion for comprehensive, patient-centered care. Originally from Nassau, Bahamas, she completed her undergraduate education at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, followed by medical school in the Caribbean. She went on to complete her family medicine residency in Oklahoma City, OK. Dr. Wallace’s approach to healthcare emphasizes education and thoughtful, comprehensive care, with a focus on lifestyle-based prevention and a minimalist approach to pharmaceutical interventions when appropriate.
Jeannette Dellinger, FNP-C
Jeannette Dellinger is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). Jeannette has nearly 30 years of experience as a FNP in Community Health Centers in rural North Carolina and Virginia. She enjoys adult health and chronic disease management. She is also experienced in and enjoys school-based health.
Taylor Lightner, FNP-BC
Taylor Lightner is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who offers preventive healthcare for all ages. She uses a holistic approach to support clients in healthy, natural dietary and activity habits. She has a passion for promoting metabolic health through lifestyle recommendations. Taylor also holds specialized training in lactation and infant feeding.
Mandi McComas, DNP, FNP-C
Mandi McComas enjoys caring for children and partnering with families to support healthy growth and development from infancy through adolescence, with a strong interest in women’s health and preventive care. Mandi has completed advanced training in IUD and Nexplanon insertion and management, as well as hormone replacement therapy (HRT), allowing her to provide comprehensive reproductive and hormonal care. With over 20 years of experience as a paramedic in critical and emergency care, she brings a calm, patient‑centered approach to both routine and urgent clinical situations.
