Highland Medical Center now offers world-class dentistry at affordable prices. Our award-winning staff, with over 68 years of experience in the dental field, offers treatments ranging from the most basic cosmetic restorations to the most complex full-mouth rehabilitations. For your convenience, we strive to do most treatments here in our clinic and minimize referrals to distant specialists.
We treat all patients in the service area who seek our care. Regardless of your income, we can work within your budget, as we accept most insurance and Medicaid programs, as well as fee-for-service. Sliding fee discounts apply to those individuals who qualify based on income.
Our Smiles for Children Medicaid Program meets a critical need for our Virginia and West Virginia service areas. We also have programs for uninsured children!

Alan White, DDS
Dr. Alan White decided he wanted to be a dentist in the second grade and in all of these years, that still hasn't changed. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and then completed a residency at East Carolina University. Prior to joining HMC, Dr. White had his own practice in Staunton, VA for over 30 years.
Meagan Neil, RDH
Meagan Neil joined Highland Medical Center in 2024 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Meagan graduated from West Virginia University Institute of Technology in 2007 with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. Prior to joining HMC, Meagan worked with Dr. White in Staunton, VA.
